Puck Shy (Carolina Comets #1) by Teagan Hunter

I’m having the definition of a bad year.

Game Six loss costing my team the Cup? Check.
Getting arrested and ruining my image? Check.
Almost getting run over after my car breaks down? Oh, look—a hat trick.

My contract is up with the Carolina Comets this year, and I need to get it together if I want to stay with the team.

I need relaxation, not a relationship.

But when I’m scrolling on a dating app and stumble across the pretty girl who almost ran me over, I know I can’t let her walk away this time.

Harper is funny, smart, and doesn’t care about hockey.

I’m not supposed to be focusing on anything other than my career, yet I can’t get Harper off my mind.

I know I shouldn’t fall for her…but I think I already have.

PUCK SHY is a standalone hockey romantic comedy. It’s good, low angst fun with some hot hockey players.

In T L Swan’s steamy third installment of the Miles High Club, Kate’s hot new pen pal is a welcome distraction from her horrible boss. But nobody is as distracting as Elliot Miles…and he knows it.

My favorite hobby is infuriating Elliot Miles. Just the sight of my boss’s handsome face triggers my sarcasm. God knows how he earns his Casanova reputation—if a million women want him with his personality, what the heck am I doing wrong?

Disgusted with my love life, I join a dating app under a fake name. I start chatting to a man named Edgar. He’s not my type and lives on the other side of the world, but we hit off a friendship, laugh and confide in each other.

Horror dawns…Has my boss been reading my emails to Edgar?

Damn it, why did I use my work email?

Oh no, does he know what I really think of him? I’d rather die than ever admit it.

Confide (Senior Year Confessions Book 2) by J. S. Cooper

Who knew that sending one love note would complicate my life?

Dear Hottie,
Yes, I’ve given you a nickname. Hottie sounds so much better than Doctor James, doesn’t it? I met you the other night at the bar in Clearwater. I wonder if you remember me? I’m the one you flirted with so sweetly before giving me your card. So what kind of doctor are you? Because I think I have a fever.
Your Secret Admirer

When I hit send I never thought that he would respond. I’d only lied once in the email. We hadn’t chatted in the bar. I’d been the girl in the corner, getting drunk with her friend watching the hot guy flirt with two local women as he played darts. When she dropped his card in the bathroom, I only took it for fun. One drunken email later and I was in deep trouble.

Because two things happened next: 1) Doctor James responded to my email and he was ready to play the game. 2) I saw him again. I was in his class. And I knew exactly what sort of doctor he was.

Now I have to decide whether or not to continue the charade. It can’t be too hard to be one person in person and one person online, right?

Confess (Senior Year Confessions Book 1) by J. S. Cooper

Hi there board,
I’m new to Confess. I’m not really sure how this works, but I’ve been a bad girl and need to confess to my sins. Is there anyone there?

V

Hi V,
I saw your post last night. Feel free to confess to me. I’m a naughty night owl and I’m here to listen.

X

And that’s how my relationship with X started. Four months ago, my two broke best friends and I created a program where we joined dating apps and lied about our careers and backgrounds to get fancy dinners and gifts. It was only meant to be for fun, but twenty-five thousand dollars and a Cartier watch later, I’m ready to redeem myself. That’s why I joined Confess, an online confession board.

I never expected to meet someone like X. We graduated from emails to phone calls, but we both agreed to no photos and no video chats. That way we could confess our sins without fear of being judged, turned in, or embarrassed if we ever met in person. It started with him giving me advice and then the light flirtation began. It’s crazy, but I think I’m falling for his deep voice without even knowing what he looks like.

Then everything begins to change when I start my new job with the boss from hell. X’s advice keeps getting me into trouble and I start to wonder who he really is and if he’s trying to help or hinder me.

To Sir, With Love by Lauren Layne

Love Is Blind meets You’ve Got Mail in this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy following two thirty-somethings who meet on a blind dating app—only to realize that their online chemistry is nothing compared to their offline rivalry.

Perpetually cheerful and eager to please, Gracie Cooper strives to make the best out of every situation. So when her father dies just five months after a lung cancer diagnosis, she sets aside her dreams of pursuing her passion for art to take over his Midtown Manhattan champagne shop. She soon finds out that the store’s profit margins are being squeezed perilously tight, and complicating matters further, a giant corporation headed by the impossibly handsome, but irritatingly arrogant Sebastian Andrews is proposing a buyout to turn the store into a parking garage. But Gracie can’t bear the thought of throwing away her father’s dream like she did her own.

Overwhelmed and not wanting to admit to her friends or family that she’s having second thoughts about the shop, Gracie seeks advice and solace from someone she’s never met—the faceless “Sir”, with whom she connected on a blind dating app where matches get to know each other through messages and common interests before exchanging real names or photos.

But although Gracie finds herself slowly falling for Sir online, she has no idea she’s already met him in real life…and they can’t stand each other.

Omega Artist (Cocky Hero Club) by Hope Irving

I lured and tricked Tig into a random hookup on social media.
He has no clue he’s anything but random to me.
He has no clue we’ll play by my rules.
He has no clue I’ll seduce him, then dump him because he deserves it.

I refuse to allow manwhores like Tig de Luca to be praised and called Don Juan for collecting women, while I’m labeled as easy for test-driving the countless suitors selected by my old-fashioned father.
I am a woman-empowering French influencer, and I’ll teach the once famous tattoo artist a lesson. It’s risk-free after all; I’m not into cocky alphas and crave a genuine connection.

I didn’t expect the game to quickly escalate into steamy, intriguing, and witty conversations.
I didn’t expect our undeniable virtual chemistry to transfer to real life.
I didn’t expect to unearth the real man beneath the surface and guarded attitude. A widower who erected barriers to protect his wounded heart. A lonely thirty-something who’s not the monster I believed him to be. An omega artist who’s not my type, but that I share some unlikely affinities with.
Still, we both want something casual that doesn’t require a label. I can’t let our infuriating attraction and astonishing compatibility overrule common sense. I’m on a mission after all.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

At Any Price (Gaming The System Book 1) by Brenna Aubrey

This novel was featured at Bustle.com as one of “13 Romance Novels That Should Be On Every Woman’s Bucket List.”bit.ly/1ImJbsp

When Mia Strong, popular gaming blogger, auctions off her virginity online, she knows she’ll make waves. But what she will not be making is a love connection. Her rules are set in stone: One night. No further contact.

It’s a desperate step, but it’s the only way she can go to medical school and pay her mother’s mounting hospital bills.

Adam Drake, the enigmatic auction winner, is a software prodigy who made his first millions at seventeen. Now, in his mid-twenties, he’s sexy, driven and–as CEO of his own gaming company–he’s used to making the rules. Before Mia knows what’s happening, he’s found the loophole in the rules of her auction. Every stipulation she’s made to protect her heart gets tossed by the wayside.

She can’t tell if he’s playing her…or if he’s playing for keeps.

When I am in a mood of reading a book with kick a** heroines and geeks, this book comes to mind.

Mia Strong is a geek who has a popular gaming blog. She is out there doing her stuff, but still a virgin and this needs to be taken care of. From her point of view, she doesn’t want more than 1 night to get it over with. This is also because she needs the money to go to medical school and pay her mother hospital bills. So why not auction her virginity?

What she doesn’t know is that Adam Drake has other plans. After seeing her ad, he accepts her conditions and wants to be the man of the night.

You will be thrown in, in a world of gaming and billionaires and you’ll get everything you were looking for. Trust me, this book is worth reading.

Her Billionaires (Her Billionaires #1) by Julia Kent

FROM NEW YORK TIMES AND USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR JULIA KENT

COULD SHE REALLY FIND THE RIGHT GUY ON THE INTERNET?

“Hot, luscious woman who can suck a golf ball through forty feet of garden hose seeks rippling-ab’d firefighter who has a tongue that thrums like a hummingbird and enjoys painting my toenails and eating Ben & Jerry’s out of the carton while watching Orange is the New Black.”

Curvy business analyst Laura Michaels stared at the online dating site’s registration screen and frowned. That’s what she really wanted to write. By the time her best friend, Josie, edited and clicked “Send,” her personals ad was more fantasy than reality.

OR WOULD SHE GET MORE THAN SHE BARGAINED FOR?

When two different guys — Dylan Stanwyck and Mike Pine — replied within two days, she seemed doubly blessed. After a first date with model-turned-firefighter Dylan that ended in bed — and with a huge misunderstanding — Laura came home from her Walk of Shame to an invitation for a hike with ski instructor Mike. The Great Outdoors became the setting for so much more…

Caught between two men — literally — who turned out to be roommates and secret billionaires, Laura makes a startling discovery about her own capacity for passion.

And, maybe, long-term love in an unconventional romance with two men that pushes every boundary.

Including her own.

Excerpt Her Billionaires by Julia Kent

“Luscious, curvy financial analyst seeks friendship and more. Financially independent and self-assured, I’m a fit woman who wants a man (or, more than one! YOLO!) for stimulating conversation…er, yeah. Conversation. Message me (or massage me!).”

Something fierce and hot inside him came to life. From that description it sounded like she…seriously? No way.

“Mike! Hey, Mike! Get in here!” If there were a chance— any chance at all, here, then he had to act fast. Someone this amazing was about to get inundated by messages from needy weirdos.

And he needed to be the first.

His roommate wandered in. Where Dylan was all muscle and brawn, Mike Pine was tall and sleek, a marathoner’s body of long, lean tissue. Dylan’s dark, thick, Italian, looks made him popular with women, but Mike was the golden boy, with blonde hair and blue eyes—the long-distance runner with a soft heart, the guy women turned to and poured their hearts out, Mr. Sensitive to Dylan’s Mr. Conquest.

Dylan tapped the screen. “Take a look at her.”

He smiled smugly as Mike’s eyes raced across the screen. They’d been waiting for a long time. Too long. His roommate’s expression told him everything he needed to know. Score! It might finally be time.

Love Online by Penelope Ward

From New York Times bestselling author Penelope Ward, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod” and she was “Montana,” but of course, those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind.

Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape—my sanctuary.

Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out.

From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed.

She was an addiction.

At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities…and she was adamant that we keep things that way. Anonymity had no effect on our unstoppable chemistry, though. If anything, it allowed us to open up even more in ways we may not have otherwise.

Eden was funny, intelligent, gorgeous—everything I’d ever wanted in a woman.

But I couldn’t really have her.

I had accepted things would have to stay the way they were—until the day I found a clue that led me straight to her.

So I took a chance.

And that was when our love story really began.

To be honest, I loved and hated this one. I don’t know why, the plot was good, but some things bugged me. I am not a fan of stripping, escorts or other jobs like this. I understand why people do it, i respect that, but it’s not something i like reading about.

Ryder McNamara meets Montana (aka Eden) online.  He feels lonely in his rich life, in his big mansion, so he turns to the internet to search for something to pass the night. When he connects to Eden, he is immediately transfixed and watching her becomes addicted.

When he wants more of her time, he buys her hours. Little by little, he wants her more, but she only sees a black screen. The main characters don’t meet the way you expect, but their feelings grow strong while trying to avoid meeting in real life. This is a safe haven for both. It’s like peaking into the intimacy of a fantasy.

Even though Eden does not like her job, she needs the money.

I would recommend this book, because it has something that draws you. Especially when Ryder goes out of his way to find her.

It’s hers.

Excerpt All Grown Up

BLURB:

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was…well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me.

Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site—one that invited men ages twenty-one to twenty-seven to apply for a date. Those nicknamed Cunnilingus King were told they’d go straight to the top for consideration. The profile wasn’t supposed to go live. Another point that bears repeating—it wasn’t supposed to.

Nevertheless, that’s how I met Ford, and we started messaging. He made me laugh; yet I was adamant that because of his age, we could only be friends. But after weeks of wearing me down, I finally agreed to one date only—my first after twenty years of being with my high school sweetheart. I knew it couldn’t last, but I was curious about him.

Though, you know what they say…curiosity kills the cat.

My legs wobbled walking into the restaurant.

Ford was seated at the bar. When he turned around, he took my breath away.

His sexy smile nearly melted my panties.

But…he looked so familiar.

As I got closer I realized why.

He was the son of the neighbor at our family’s summer home.

The boy next door.

Only now…he was all man.

I hadn’t seen him in years.

I left the restaurant and planned to put the entire crazy thing behind me.

Which I did. Until summer came.

And guess who decided to use his family’s summer home this year?

Excerpt ALL Grown Up by Vi Keeland

Eve’s face flashed on the screen, and I swiped to answer.
“Give me all the details.”
I shook my head repeatedly, even though she couldn’t see me. “It was horrible.”
“What happened? What did the bastard do to you? I’ll cut his balls off.”
Eve’s response made me smile for the first time since I’d laid eyes on my date. “No. It wasn’t that kind of horrible. He was a perfect gentleman.”
“Okay…”
“Very sweet and funny, too.”
“Sounds awful,” she said sarcastically.
“And gorgeous.”
“The balls on him.”
“That’s not the worst part.”
“Let’s see…he’s young, gorgeous, sweet, and funny. What could be worse than that? He’s hung like a horse?”
“I wouldn’t know. And you know why I don’t know that?”
“Because you’re an uptight prude who hasn’t been laid in years?”
“That might be true. But the larger problem is that he is one of Ryan’s friends.”
Eve cackled. “That’s not a problem, that’s fantastic! Bang his brains out and send him to play golf with your ex. Let him eat his heart out when he realizes what he lost.”
“Ummm…Eve, I wasn’t talking about my ex, Ryan. I was talking about my son.”
“I’ll be over in twenty minutes.”
