Office Hate by Rachel Van Dyken

#1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken delivers a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy with this hilarious, standalone new adult romance.

Have you ever hated someone so much that you actually wondered if prison would be worth it?
I have.
And I had to bear witness to Mark’s cocky smile for four miserable years watching girl after girl tumble in and out of his bed while he had nothing but scorn for me.
After we graduated college and, thank God, finally parted ways, I thought that I was done having to deal with the enemy. And then I got fired, sending me careening right into a local bar—and Mark’s bed.

My nightmare came true as we both soon realized that we would be fighting for the same job at Emory Enterprises.
We had to live together under the same roof, and as the challenges got weirder and weirder, we got closer and closer—united by the trauma that is CEO Max Emory.
When I signed up for this internship, I envisioned coffee runs, not gecko sitting—long story.
Soon one thing led to another, and somehow my enemy quickly turned into my best friend.

But what happens when the games are over? Furthermore, how do I tell the guy I used to hate that he owns my heart when I wasn’t even aware I’d given it away?

Move over, cello…
There’s a new man in town.

**This is book 1 in the G.D. Taylors series. Each one features a different sibling and can be read as a complete standalone. A HEA is guaranteed!**

The G.D. Taylors Series:
Wanted Wed or Alive
The Bold and the Bullheaded
Another Motherfaker
Don’t Cry over Spilled MILF
Friends with Benefactors

Kassie’s Review
Wanted Wed or Alive was lough out loud funny with plenty of second hand embarrassment.
I love this book and all of the character (ok maybe not all, *cough cough* jilted bride).
The Brothers are something else. I loved the close knit big family vibes of the Taylor’s and Mya’s family dynamic was fun too.
There’s plenty of spicy moments in this book, lots of super cute aww moments, hilarious moments, and as mentioned before second hand embarrassment moments (here’s looking at you Jesse). I’m here for all the landlord/flipping properties part of the book too.
Sign me up for a hot Taylor brother who will hook me up with a beautiful New York apartment with floor to ceiling windows and a big soaking tub. I’m excited to continue the journey around the G.D. Taylor’s.

If they’re not careful, this marriage could turn into a love story.

Publication Date: February 16, 2021

This book was SUCH a nice surprise!!! I loved every minute of it. It light, it has a heroine that you’ll love and a hero that you’ll swoon over… characters that make you laugh.

I started it last night and of course finished it because i just couldn’t put it down. I’ve been in a funk lately so that it way I say it was such a nice surprise. And I just knew from 5% that I WAS LOVING IT.

AND let me tell you, this series is something I am looking forward to it because the Bates family is something to read about. And we have Sophie’s sister Liv and their brother Jabe. I feel it already.

About the book, Sophie has a B&B that needs to be paid soon, because her taxes are due and she faces her business to be taken away. In comes Holden, her childhood BFF who comes into town to take care of his Pop’s Vet clinic until he lands a new job.

Both of them need each other and a marriage of convenience is perfectly crazy and a solution for Sophie not to lose the business and Holden to be a married man in order to land his dream job. What they try to deny is the chemistry between them and that maybe,  Sophie is what Holden is searching for, not a job.

LOVE, love, love it.

Lizzy Goes Brains Over Braun (Billionaire Baby Club Book 1) by Jasinda Wilder

From New York Times Bestselling Author Jasinda Wilder comes a sexy, laugh out loud romantic comedy series that is the perfect escape. If you’re a fan of Sex in the City and you binge watched Selling Sunset, you don’t want to miss this.

It was just supposed to be just a 40th birthday prank for our boss after a wild night of girlfriends, laughter, and a LOT of margaritas.

When we placed the ad in the newspaper, we never thought anyone would actually answer it.

We also didn’t think that Laurel would be so brainless as to put Lizzy’s actual phone number in the ad…

“Beautiful, successful single woman, 40, seeks attractive male billionaire to impregnate her the old-fashioned way. No strings. NOT seeking sugar daddy. Validation required. Serious inquiries only, please.”

What could possibly go wrong? Everything.

Overachiever (Slumming It Book 2) by S.M. Shade

It started with a summer job and a ridiculous sex dream.

If you were to ask my friends to describe me, they’d tell you I’m an ambitious person. Responsible, driven, and focused on my goals. Words like stubborn and uptight would probably get thrown in there too. I’m not sure about that, but I know who I’m not.

I’m not the woman who lets a guy derail me from my plans. Watching others make that mistake has taught me well. No serious dating. No relationship until I’m successfully settled into my career. That’s the promise I made to myself and I’m determined to keep it.

Despite being an excellent student, there’s one lesson I fear I’ve learned too late. Funny men aren’t as harmless as they seem and should be avoided at all times. They sneak in under your radar and end up under your skirt. One second you’re laughing. The next you’re hunting for your underwear on a hotel room floor. Believe me, it’s not worth it.

If only my heart would stop screaming louder than my brain, I might be able to believe that Owen falls into that category. He’s my friend, but every day we spend together in this hotel, or working on our summer job building houses for charity, the harder it gets to convince myself we shouldn’t be more.

Years of diligence, and I’m being destroyed by a goofy smile.

Shopping for a Yankee Swap (Shopping for a Billionaire Series Book 17) by Julia Kent

Christmas is nostalgia heaven for my family (unless you count the Christmas tree fire last year, which we won’t…).

Mom owns more holiday decorations than twelve area malls combined. Dad prides himself on hand-chopping the best live tree, while my older sister perfected peppermint cookies to the point of unparalleled bliss, and my younger sister has memorized every Christmas carol with her fingers for a piano bash that goes on and on.

And on.

But this year, Christmas is different.

This year, the McCormick men are joining the Yankee Swap.

You know how it works, right? Bring the craziest gift you can possibly find, pick a number, open the presents in order and play “steal the gift” until person Number One gets one last chance to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

My husband, Declan, is on a mission to win. He’s so sure he can find the absolutely, positively, unreservedly weirdest gift that he’s willing to go to any extreme to find it.

Any extreme.

That’s right.

He’s going thrift store shopping with my mother. The billionaire and the frugal queen are on a quest.

Only one will win.

And on Christmas evening, after we’re stuffed silly, sung out, the kids fall asleep and the adults break out the bizarre presents and the alcohol, it’ll be showtime.

Because there ain’t no competition like a McCormick competition.

But the Jacoby family has a trick or ten up its sleeves, too.

Declan and Shannon are back in yet another hilarious Christmas family saga in Julia Kent’s New York Times bestselling romantic comedy series.

It’s a competitive Yankee Swap – what could go wrong? Read and find out

Best Friends Don’t Kiss by Max Monroe

Goal: Find a boyfriend, get married, buy a house in the suburbs with a white picket fence, and pop out 2.5 kids.

Deadline: Sixty days.

That’s possible, right?

HAHAHA. *Faints*

I’m kidding. Well, kind of. I mean, I’m not going to attempt a shotgun wedding or try to get knocked up by some guy I met on the internet, but there is no doubt that, this year, home for the holidays takes on a whole new, terrifying meaning.

I have to travel from New York City—my home and safe haven for the last fifteen years—to my tiny hometown in Vermont for Christmas, my baby sister’s wedding, and my high school reunion.

Talk about a trifecta of single-doom.

Throw in Callie Camden—aka my high school class’s version of Regina George—and it’s a recipe for certified disaster.

Especially since my mouth ran away from me when she asked me if I’d be bringing someone to our reunion, and I told her to put me down for two.
Gah. Now I can’t go alone.

But the online dating world is a cesspool of bad manners, speedy hookups, and outright weirdos.

Handsome, single, successful—that’s what I’m looking for.
And it just so happens that my best friend Luke London fits all of the criteria.

The only problem is best friends don’t kiss…

But maybe it doesn’t count if it’s pretend?
Publication date : November 28, 2020

A steamy and hilarious holiday treat from New York Times Bestseller J. S. Cooper

Santa baby, I’ve really been an awful bad girl…

If the city ever decides to put a sign on my front door, it will say, “Good Girl Gone Bad.” This year I am definitely on Santa’s naughty list and it’s not even my own fault. How was I supposed to know that when I asked for a boyfriend for Christmas, that my wish would be granted; with not one, but two suitors vying for my heart?

When one problem becomes two…
My two suitors are exact opposites. Lucas, the corporate hottie, wants me to spend Christmas Eve at his penthouse and Connor, the bad boy rockstar wants to take me to an isolated cabin on Christmas Day. I’ve agreed to both invitations. Hey, a girl has to explore her options.

The Christmas surprise I didn’t see coming…
And then everything went wrong. Because who couldn’t see this trainwreck coming; asides from me? Both guys wanted to see me on New Year’s Eve: each one sliding a naughty note under my door promising copious amounts of spiced eggnog and an even spicier night. The only problem was they’d both invited me to the same party. Turns out they were connected in a way I never saw coming.

It’s complicated doesn’t even begin to express my dilemma. The only thing I know is that at midnight, the fireworks going off aren’t just going to be in the sky.

The Office Party by Whitney G.

I can’t believe that I pulled my boss’s name for our company’s annual Secret Santa tradition…
As the devil incarnate, this infuriating, cocky bastard never gives us the holidays off, and he honestly expects us to be grateful for his generous alternative: The Office Party.
It’s a mandatory, all-expenses trip for two weeks at a surprise luxury resort—where we still have to work twelve to fifteen hours a day.
I’m so over this…
So, I put zero percent effort into his gift. I tear the tag off whatever my sister gifts me, add a five-dollar amazon gift card, and hand it off to him.
It’s not until my sister sends me a text that I realize how terrible of a decision that was.
Georgia: Why haven’t you sent me a ‘LOL’ about the brand-new vibrator I got you? I really do hope that you use your boss’s face as a muse, like my note says. 🙂
If that’s not bad enough, this year’s “luxury trip” will be in my hometown–the place I’ve avoided for years. At the resort that my grandmother owns…

If the universe gets me out of this, I will never ‘regift’ anything ever again…

Well This Sucks by Coralee June & Carrie Gray

I treat eating pancakes on patios like it’s a personality trait.

Brunch is my jam. I like the beach, shopping, carbs, and reading naughty books on the train during my commute. I wear pink. Lots of it. If Tinder were an olympic sport, I’d take home the gold. I can rock stilettos like they’re a pair of Nike joggers. I’m basically a basic bitch.

I’m in the prime of my life. I’ve got my dream job as the head of marketing at a sex toy company, and I’ve been steadily dating myself for the better half of the last decade. I’m thirty, flirty, and thriving, dammit.

Or at least I was, until some fucker had the audacity to turn me into a vampire.

I don’t do blood and doom and gloom. I sure as hell don’t like sleeping in a coffin, avoiding garlic bread, and these ridiculous vamp politics. And don’t get me started on Diego. He’s vampire royalty and a pain in my ass. A very sexy pain in the ass. When he’s not driving me crazy with all his rules, he’s turning my panties into Niagara falls.

I absolutely refuse to live the rest of my immortal life in some wannabe nineties grunge music video.

I love you . . . but what if I can’t love your life?
