The Rival (Looking to Score Book 2) by Kendall Ryan

Dump my cheating ex? Check.
Land an amazing job with Boston’s professional hockey franchise? Check.

Fall stupidly in love with hockey’s favorite bad boy? Ugh.

After wasting years of my life with the wrong person, I told myself all I wanted was a little no-strings fun. Enter Alex Braun—the wealthy, handsome, and notorious playboy who is equal parts charming, and dangerous as hell to my wounded heart.

After enduring a very public breakup of his own, the sexy player doesn’t want to be anyone’s forever. Too bad he barreled his way into my heart, instead of just my bed.

But this professional athlete knows a thing or two about competing, and he won’t let go so easily.

Warning: This romance contains one grumpy, emotionally damaged, but gorgeous-as-hell hockey player, and a whip-smart, hardworking heroine who has never quite fit in. It should only be read by those who like their men brawny and their romances red-hot!

The Rebel (Looking to Score #1) by Kendall Ryan
Holt

Six years ago, Eden barged into my life and turned everything upside down. We spent one scorching-hot night together, and then she disappeared into the sunset with the golden jock everyone adored. Which makes sense, right? A girl as beautiful and brilliant as Eden Wynn doesn’t end up with a rebel like me.

I expected them to live happily ever after, but that’s not what happened. She’s back in my life—and tempting me like no one else has. And while I’m certain I’ll only tarnish her shine, I want her.

I’d heard the old notion that one night held the power to change everything. I just never believed it.

Until now.

Eden

I’m public enemy number one.

Turns out, the East Coast is protective of their hockey team and very vocal about not wanting a young female owner. Well, too bad, because this team is all Grandpa Wynn left me, and I have no intention of walking away.

Enter my new head of security, Holt Rossi. My history with him is . . . complicated. Chemistry reignites between us while the world waits for me to stumble.

He’s supposed to protect me—but who will protect my heart from him?

The Stud Next Door (Frisky Business Book 3) by Kendall Ryan

A sexy, single dad standalone romance coming soon from New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan.

Life threw me a curveball. An adorable eight-pound, four-ounce curveball with her mother’s eyes and my dark hair. I’d like to think my single-dad game is strong, but honestly? I’ve been struggling a little.

When a beautiful young woman moves in next door and offers to give me a hand, I jump at the chance to hire her as a nanny. Jessa is amazing with my daughter. She’s also patient, kind, and way too pretty.

The number one rule of hiring a nanny? Don’t bed the nanny.

It’s a rule I intend to keep.

But as the days pass, I begin to realize how much my life is missing. Companionship. Romance. Intimacy. When I discover my heart has space for one more female, it’s a lost cause, another curveball. The hot-as-hell nanny is leaving soon for a mission trip to Central America. No sense in letting myself fantasize about Jessa being a permanent part of my life.

The closer we get, the more difficult it becomes to keep my feelings in check, because my heart won’t listen. And neither will my libido.

Well, you know what they say. Rules are meant to be broken . . .

The Boyfriend Effect (Frisky Business #1) by Kendall Ryan

A sexy new series of standalone romances from New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan, about four male friends who own a toy store. Yes, that kind of toy store.

I’m not boyfriend material.

If a trail of broken hearts and a piss-poor record of failed relationships have taught me anything, it’s this. My buddies are happy to give me shit about my latest breakup from here to next Sunday.

Thanks, but I’d rather have a root canal.

And a vasectomy.

At the same time.

But my relief comes in an unlikely package—my first love, the one who got away, the gorgeous and feisty Maren. She just so happens to be my friend’s sister, so that’s not awkward at all.

But I’m a man on a mission, and Maren is down to teach me all the ways I’ve been failing as a boyfriend. Apparently, there are many. And it’s all very informative—until I start to catch feelings.

Now it’s not just my reputation on the line, but my heart too.

This book has been such a delight and I recommend it as a light read.
Maren has been always the little sister of his best friend. For the serial boyfriend, Hayes, he has been though his share of girlfriends, but none compare to the one things he truly desires, Maren.
The book is full of back and forth between the guilt of acting on their feelings and all the reasons they should do this.
It’s the beginning of a series, one I fully intend to read, because I love Kendall Ryan.
Some things were a bit pushed, from my point of view, because sometimes I wanted to shake Hayes and ask him WTF is he doing? All this back and forth is the same annoying thing in books as it is in the real world, if you know want I mean!

My Brother’s Roommate (Frisky Business #2) by Kendall Ryan

There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.

Wolfie Cox is . . . complicated. Terminally sexy, and more importantly, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.

So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.

He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the alternative.

And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.

Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother volun-tells him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one . . . I say thanks, but no thanks. Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his spineless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.

This is book two in the Frisky Business series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone.

Penthouse Prince by Kendall Ryan

A delicious new single dad standalone romance from New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan!

Lexington Dane was my brother’s best friend growing up.

We did everything together.

He taught me how to throw a punch, how to change a tire…and he taught me how to kiss. I fell hard and fast, and gave him all my firsts.

I promised I’d wait for him…

But I’m done waiting, because he went off to college and never came back. He took his fancy business degree and moved to New York City, where he promptly became a real estate mogul—turning every penthouse and apartment project he touched into gold.

It’s been ten years, and now he’s back and needs a favor…someone to watch his little girl. That’s right, the cocky penthouse prince and heartbreaker extraordinaire Lexington is back with an adorable two-year-old daughter. Guess who he wants to watch her?

I’ve never been able to say no to him. I might agree to be the nanny for his precious little angel, but there’s no way in hell I’m falling for her hot-as-sin daddy.

As soon as I saw the blurb on this one, I click this baby right away. I am a sucker for single dads and Kendall Ryan so I read this one so fast…

The sweet story of Corrigan and Lexington. They were in high school when they started dating without Cor’s brother and Lex’s best friend knowing. After Lex left for college, he figured he couldn’t do a long distance relationship and broke things off.

After 10 years and a 2 year-old baby girl, he is finally returning home to be close to his mother. He needs a nanny and Corrigan is the only people he finds and that trust to look about his daughter.

This is a light read, and no OW drama, so if you are in the mood of a sweet story of 2 people rekindling their old flame, this is the one for you.

I loved it.

How to Date a Younger Man By Kendall Ryan

Tips for Surviving a Fling with a Sexy Younger Man

First, you’d think as a thirty-something-year-old woman, I’d be immune to Griffin’s flirty comments and six-pack abs. You’d think that his carefree playboy attitude, or the fact that he’s still finishing grad school, would deter me.

You’d be wrong.

If you accidentally bang your best friend’s younger brother, here are a few important tips . . .

One: Do not brag to your friend about how well-endowed her brother is.

Two: Do not go back for seconds (or thirds).

Three: Do not let him see your muffin top or jiggly behind. And definitely don’t let him feed you cookies in bed. Cookies are bad. Remember that.

Four: Act like a damn grown-up and apologize for riding him like a bull at the rodeo. And do not flirt with him when he laughs at said apology.

Five: This one is crucial, so pay attention.

Do not, under any circumstances, fall in love with him.
Publication Date: July 21, 2020

I don’t know how, but I think I’ve read this book way too fast. You see, I work an 8 hour job, and on slow days I read if given the time. I remember starting it, but was surprised how fast and invested I was in the story.

I love age gaps, and I love Kendall Ryan so I had to read it. Usually, I tend to pick the ones where the guys is older, but hot damn… after this book, the card have turned.

Griffin is a 23 year old business grad, who makes money on the side doing his massage therapy.  This is how he meets Layne Anderson, and after he asked her out / got rejected, he was surprised to find out that she was his sister’s friend.

Even though in age gaps one would expect an alpha male… (*cough me), I was pleasantly aware that our guy was a sweet one and exactly what Layne needed. He was patient and put her needs first by giving her time. Because Layne was a busy and successful lawyer, she knew exactly what she wanted and the Griffin she met 4 years ago was still a young man discovering himself.

All in all, I’ll give you some details. Griffin is 23 when they meet, Layne is 33. The plot slowly starts giving away how their friendship goes over the course of 4 years and the almost romance happening.

PS: No drama, no OW or cheating.

Mister Tonight by Kendall Ryan

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was that girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.

He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.

There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”

Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.

Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

WOW, I loved this book.

What started of with a meaningless birthday one night stand, turned into more when a little girl interrupts you in the makes of it.

This is why Kate feels like when Hunter’s 4 year-old daughter asks what she is doing to her daddy.

This is one story I was devouring like crazy. It’s funny and sweet and I am weak when it comes to single parents.

To top it off, Kate’s humiliation reaches higher grounds when Hunter turns out to be her landlord.

Again, I know I keep myself from spoilers, but please PLEASE read this one. It’s a standalone and so funny and sweet, it’s a no brainer.

The Dare by Kendall Ryan

Cocky. Jaw-droppingly sexy. A patient in my emergency room.

As an ER nurse, I’ve seen a lot of things, but this might take the cake. Because the charming hottie packing a whole lotta somethin’ somethin’ beneath his hospital gown? He’s all kinds of naughty trouble. And I have time for exactly none of it.

I didn’t expect to see Cade again – never expected the guy I treated for a monster erection in my ER would turn out to be the sweet, single dad I’m now secretly lusting over.

Complicated doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Reckless Love (Hard to Love #2) by Kendall Ryan

One reckless fighter.

One night of passion he can’t forget.

The battle between sex and love is fierce and unrelenting.

And love is about to knock him on his ass.

Reckless Love can be read as a standalone novel, but is a follow up to the New York Times and USA Today bestseller Hard to Love.

Long Version:

Cage fighting always came first for him…
Ian’s life is full of sacrifice. His intense training schedule means brutal workouts, no drinking, and worst of all, no pussy. But it’s all worth it because he’s about to go pro. When a tempting young nurse starts working at his gym, he can’t escape the dirty desires clouding his mind, and it’s driving him crazy. He’d love a taste, but he needs his focus now more than ever.

She’s kept her heart on maximum-security lockdown…
Growing up in foster care, MacKenzie learned early on that love was something other people experienced, something she’d seen but never felt. When she meets sexy cage fighter, Ian, she expects nothing more than a one-night stand, but he walks away before they seal the deal. Now she’d like to forget the night they almost hooked up. But she’s just taken a job working at his gym, and despite her efforts to move on, his allure is overpowering. When Ian gets injured, they begin working together on his rehabilitation, and their one-on-one physical therapy sessions are so hot they sizzle, leaving them both desperate for more contact.
The battle for their love is about to become a fight to the finish.

Excerpt Reckless Love (Hard to Love #2) by Kendall Ryan

His touch awakened a need in me, one I’d been desperate to suppress, and I leaned into his warm palm. His touch felt so good, so right, that I struggled to comprehend why I’d been holding myself back from this for so long. I stepped closer.

His gaze moved between my lips and my eyes. “What about Chris?”

I shook my head, my bold gaze not straying from his. If only he knew the truth. “What about him?”

“Fuck it.”

Ian curled a rough palm around the back of my neck and guided my mouth to his. His lips barely brushed against mine. His overt strength took a back seat, and the gentleness of his touch surprised me. His hot breath whispered across my skin, causing little tingles of heat to crackle along my skin and down my spine, pooling low in my belly.

A tiny whimper escaped my throat. I needed more. When his tongue lightly brushed against my lower lip, I opened for him. His tongue flicked along mine, dampening my panties and sweeping away all my good sense.

Working It (Love by Design #1) by Kendall Ryan

A story of heart-stopping, toe-curling passion by the beloved bestselling author of Hard to Love, Resisting Her, and The Impact of You.

Straight-laced and well-mannered southerner Emmy Clarke is out of her depth in New York City’s fashion world, but when she lands a job as an assistant at a modeling agency it seems like the perfect mix of business and pleasure. Working under the notoriously tyrannical Fiona Stone is a nightmare, but there’s one distinct perk: ogling the ridiculously hot male models who parade through the office—particularly rising star Ben Shaw.

Ben is everything Emmy’s not: exquisitely gorgeous, highly paid, and well-traveled. He’s also got more issues than Vogue. Emmy looks after Ben on photo shoots, but she refuses to become another one of his lusting groupies. Ben finds Emmy’s refreshingly real attitude to be surprisingly attractive.

Against a backdrop of the most fashionable cities in the world, casual flirting turns into an illicit affair, but when Ben’s twisted past is revealed, and the bitter Fiona catches wind of their relationship, their careers and hearts are threatened.

Excerpt Working It (Love by Design #1) by Kendall Ryan

The photographer only prompted Ben very little. He knew how to move on camera, holding each pose for a few clicks, then turning, tilting his jaw just slightly, pouting his mouth, placing his hands on his hips, in his hair. He knew how to work the camera. The one thing that remained constant despite his movements was his intense stare, looking straight into the camera. Those dark hazel eyes burning so brilliantly. A shiver raced up my spine remembering how dark and hungry his eyes looked when he rubbed the toy against my panties last night.
The photographer clicked away, in obvious joy at getting to work with such a talent. “Chin up,” he directed. “Beautiful.” Click, click. “Relax your shoulders.” Click. “Stunning. Just like that.” Click, click.
The ads for the designer denim jeans hugging Ben in all the right places would be on billboards and in magazines that fall. I felt like a cool kid that I got to sneak a peak of the behind the scenes action.
“Great, now look off camera. Pick something to focus on,” the photographer told Ben.
His eyes found mine.
“Good, stay there,” the photographer said.
Ben’s pouty lips parted and his gaze slipped lower, settling over my chest. His jaw twitched. Desire raced through my system. My breasts felt so full and heavy, they practically throbbed for his touch.
Every tilt of his jaw, each flex of his arms felt sexual to me, a silent beckoning me with his eyes. I suppressed a hot shiver. The things he could do to my body without laying a finger on me scared me. This man was devastating to my system.
“Smoldering!” the photographer called out, continuing to click away.
If he only knew…my panties were about to ignite. Honest to God, I was a fire hazard. Ben needed to stop looking at me like that. His eyes wandered the length of my body, and I lost any interest I had in keeping us apart. My body wanted this too bad. Craved it. Like a junkie needing a fix.

When We Fall Book 3

Excerpt When I Break by Kendall Ryan

“Knox,” she murmured, her voice a tiny plea. “I wish we’d met under different circumstances. My being your addiction counselor complicates things.”
“Why can’t I just be a man, and you just be a woman?”
“You’re in recovery. I can’t be a temptation to you.”
I swallowed heavily. Too late for that. My balls were aching with the need to sink inside her.
“We all have certain wants and desires, McKenna. It doesn’t make them wrong. We’re only human.”
Indecision flashed in her eyes and her gaze zeroed in on my mouth. If I had to guess, I’d say she was thinking about what it would be like to kiss me. It seemed that good-girl McKenna had a naughty side to her. Every ounce of her wanted that kiss. I could read it all over her, from her flushed chest to the thrumming pulse in her neck. I’d be willing to bet it had been a long time since a man touched her. Her body’s responses were too obvious, and I could read the want and curiosity all over her.
I leaned forward just slightly, wetting my lips. She swallowed, her eyes tracking the movements. Angling my head to hers, I paused, stopping myself. Why? To prove a point. We were mammals, we reacted to the opposite sex. It was biology. We were born to breed, to reproduce. Men especially—to spread around our seed. Just the fact that I stopped myself proved that I didn’t have a problem. Only I wasn’t sure if I was trying to convince McKenna or myself.

The Soul Mate (Roommates #5) by Kendall Ryan

From New York Times Bestseller Kendall Ryan comes a sexy new stand-alone novel in her Roommates series.

The smoking-hot one-night stand I was never supposed to see again?

Yeah, well, I might be pregnant, and he’s my OB-GYN.

Get ready to fall head over heels madly in love with the hottest OBGYN doctor you have ever met! This full-length standalone contains the most hilariously awkward lady-doctor visit, lots of playful banter and some good ol’ fashioned baby-makin’! One-click now for this summer’s swooniest read.

Excerpt The Soul Mate (Roommates #5) by Kendall Ryan

“Dr. Bentley?”
“What’s up, Jean?” I asked. She was the newest of the nurses and still referred to all of us by our titles even when we weren’t in front of patients, so I tried to make my smile extra friendly.
“There was a cancellation this morning and we had someone fill the spot with a new patient. I know you’ve got a lot on your plate but I was wondering if maybe—”
I held up my hand. “No problem. When’s the appointment?”
“Um, that’s sort of the thing. She’s here now.”
I made sure not to wince visibly, knowing she was already walking on eggshells due to nerves and not wanting to make it worse. “Right, okay. Well, draw her blood and get her in her gown and I’ll be in as soon as I can.”
Jean started to leave the room, but I called her back.
“The intake form?” I asked, and she let out a shrill laugh as her cheeks flamed red.
“Right, right. Duh! Here you go.” She dropped the slip of paper on my desk along with a medical history folder, and I glanced at the tidy, pretty script.
Ashley Matthews.
Pretty normal history and on the younger side. I flicked through the pages in her folder, then sent off the last few emails in my in-box before heading back down the hall. Trent was going to owe me for taking on yet another new patient—if he was smart, he would bring back a coffee for me regardless of the fact that I didn’t go with him.
Gently I knocked on the door, and Jean appeared from around the corner.
“Dr. Bentley is here,” she informed the woman who was lying like she’d recently been hit by a truck. Her hair was slung over the side of the bed and her arm was flung dramatically over her face.
“Not feeling well?” I asked.
“Ugh,” the patient groaned, and Jean piped in.
“Miss Matthews isn’t the biggest fan of…lady doctor visits.”
“Can we…uh… just get the uncomfortable part over with as soon as possible, please?” our patient added in a strangled whisper, still not removing her arm from over her face.
“No problem. I totally understand.” I made my way to the sink and washed my hands before putting on my gloves and taking my seat. Luckily, Miss Matthews seemed to know the drill—she’d scooted all the way to the end of the table, and her feet were already firmly in the stirrups.
I placed the light, turned it on, and then said, “Okay, Miss Matthews, I’m just going to—”
“I’ve had an exam before. I know the drill,” she groaned.
I forced a smile.
It takes all kinds.
“All righty, then, let’s not waste any more time.” Being as gentle as possible so as not to spook her even worse, I slid two fingers inside her vaginal canal, ready to make my way deeper and check for anything concerning, when suddenly my heart stopped dead and, for the first time since I’d added the title of “Doctor” to my name, my cock twitched during an exam. She was pink, soft, warm, and utterly perfect. Tight as a glove with pleasantly plump little lips. Fuck! What was happening to me?
Apparently I was losing it because her smell made me want to bury my face between her legs, and I was pretty sure that was frowned upon in the medical profession.
No way. There is no fucking way.
Realization dawned all at once and I felt the room sway.
This was not the first time these two fingers had been inside that vagina.
I swallowed hard and retracted my fingers as swiftly as I could manage without hurting her. Then I looked up, taking a moment to study the blond hair hanging over the exam table—the creamy whiteness of the arm covering her face.
There was no doubt now.
“Bren?” I murmured softly.

The Bed Mate (Roommates #4) by Kendall Ryan

I might be a typical guy, but these last few years, my love life’s been anything but. From crazy ex-girlfriends to one night stands who are stage-five clingers, my relationships go bad faster than the milk in your fridge. The only constant has been my best friend Maggie.

Fresh off a bad breakup of her own, I invite Maggie to my guy’s skiing weekend knowing she needs an escape from reality. But then something funny starts to happen. I start noticing things about her that I never noticed before.

She’s beautiful and doesn’t know it, she’s funny without even trying, and now she’s suddenly single for the first time in forever.

Sharing a hotel room with her proves to be the tipping point in our very platonic friendship. Suddenly I want to put my hands, my mouth, and my … other parts … all over her gorgeous body. I want to claim her, make sure no man touches her ever again. But then her groveling ex shows up, and Maggie’s torn.

Am I ready to screw up the best relationship I’ve ever had for a shot at something more?

Excerpt The Bed Mate (Roommates #4) by Kendall Ryan

Every now and then, Sam would shoot me a sympathetic look, knowing that I had no idea what they were talking about, but in truth, their company was a welcome break. Between what the woman in the shop had said and the lady on the plane’s insinuation, my mind was going a mile a minute and I was beginning to look at Sam in a way I definitely shouldn’t be.
Okay, so, yeah, he was sexy. That was a no-brainer.
I shot him a furtive glance, taking in the corded muscles of his forearms and the lock of dark hair that constantly flopped onto his forehead. And sure, he was sweet and attentive. He looked after me and made sure I always had a fresh drink and that I wasn’t cold or hot. He held the door for me and pulled out my chair when we went to restaurants. Hell, he’d been looking forward to this trip for months and he’d sacrificed an entire day just to make sure I got here safe and didn’t spend my time sulking.
Still, that didn’t mean he had feelings for me. He hadn’t argued when I’d mentioned us being like brother and sister or anything.
No, this whole line of thinking was ludicrous. Sam was a good friend. That was all…wasn’t it?
After all, Trevor had loved me once and he never did any of that.
Admittedly, that wasn’t the best example, but it proved my point all the same. In Sam’s shoes, Trevor never would have missed the chance to hit the slopes with his friends. He hadn’t even skipped the business trip that fell on my twenty-fifth birthday years back.
But Sam was there, my brain supplied helpfully.
Again, not an indication that he had feelings for me. People were just different. Sam was one of the good ones. And if he liked me surely I’d have known by now. He’d have told me or…something.
“Is that your phone?” Sam turned to me and I blinked, only realizing that I’d been so encompassed in my own thoughts that I’d totally zoned out.
“What?” I asked, confused.
“Don’t you hear that vibrating noise? I think it’s your phone.”
I listened hard and then heard the low, gentle hum he was talking about.
“Yep, probably you-know-who again.” I sighed, but fished the phone from my tiny handbag all the same on the off chance it was a family member with an emergency.
It wasn’t Trevor, though. He had called—I had seven new missed messages from him since I’d left for the airport, but I also had three missed calls from my friend Deanna. I hadn’t spoken to her in more than two weeks because she’d been away on a long-awaited safari, but now more than ever I really needed to hear her voice.
