An Irresistible Chance by Kim Loraine

A sexy, single-dad romance standalone
Don’t sleep with the nanny.

That should be a simple rule to follow, but some things are easier said than done.

Especially when the nanny I hire to take care of my wild child daughter turns out to be the one I can’t forget.

The woman I shared a red-hot anonymous kiss with a few weeks ago when we were trapped in an elevator? Yeah, seems she’s one and the same—sweet, sexy, irresistible Daisy.

When she shows up in town, fresh-faced and ready to care for my kid, it hits me like a kick from a stubborn mare. I’m in way over my head.

I’ve been fantasizing about seeing my elevator woman again. And now I’m seeing her every damn day at the breakfast table, or at the playground with my adorable daughter.

Daisy is exactly what my little girl needs.

But every day I spend with Daisy makes me want her more, only I can’t have her.

I won’t risk breaking the unbreakable rule to take a chance at love.

Until the night I do.

Most Eligible Cowboy (The Brother’s at Horseshoe Ranch Book 2) by J. S. Cooper

He’s a bossy, grumpy cowboy, but that doesn’t stop his hotness…
Beau Hamilton is the biggest catch in Montana. He’s handsome, funny and rich. As the oldest son and heir to one of the largest ranches in the State, he’s one of the most eligible bachelors around. And he knows it. His brother is marrying my best friend and we’re both in the bridal party. He’s the best man and I’m the maid of honor. I thought that he was a perfect gentleman until the night of the joint bachelor-bachelorette party. We did things that nobody should ever know about. Not even my best friend.

Beau’s also made it clear that while he’s an eligible bachelor, he has no plans on ever getting married. Which doesn’t bother me in the least because the more time I spend with him, the more he annoys me. He’s a bossy, grumpy, demanding cowboy that thinks it’s his way or the highway and I’m looking forward to showing him that this is one woman that doesn’t want him in the least. No matter how many times he bats his baby blues at me or asks me to check out the horses in the stables.

Excerpt Most Eligible Cowboy by J. S. Cooper

“It is so lovely to have you here for dinner, Olivia.” Amelia Hamilton looked at me with sincere eyes. I stared at her and smiled softly.
“Thanks so much for having me. I’m so grateful for your hospitality.”
“Any friend of Lucy’s is a friend of ours. And seeing as Lucy is as good as family, you’re family too.”
“Oh thank you.” I beamed at her and I could feel my entire body freezing as I heard the loud clunky footsteps of cowboy boots entering the room. I knew for a fact that it was Beau. I didn’t even have to turn around and look.
“Well, look who’s joining us for dinner?” Amelia smiled and I finally turned to the side to see Beau sliding into the empty seat next to me.
“Good evening, mama.” He grinned. “I’m hungry, I’m not going to miss dinner.”
“And neither am I.” Another male voice entered the room and this time I couldn’t stop myself from looking. This voice had been unfamiliar and I wanted to see who it was. My eyes widened as I stared at the hunk in front of me. He was better looking than Beau, Austin, and Wyatt combined and they were all gorgeous. “Hi Mama.” The hunky man walked over to Amelia and kissed her on the cheek. “Hi Pops.” He waved at Ranger and then took a seat next to Wyatt.
“Chet,” Sadie beamed at him. “I haven’t seen you in weeks. Are you back home?”
“For now.” He grinned. “Miss me, did you?”
“No, she didn’t.” Wyatt rolled his eyes and I withheld a smile and his grumpy demeanor. Lucy had told me that Wyatt and Sadie had been best friends for years and that everyone in the family thought they were secretly in love but didn’t yet know themselves. The more time I spent around them, the more I tended to agree with that sentiment.
“And who do we have here?” Chet looked directly at me, with his twinkling light blue eyes. His crisp short dark hair accentuated his tan face and perfect features and I swallowed hard. “Don’t tell me you’re Lucy, Austin’s bride to be?”
“No.” I grinned, shaking my head. “I’m Olivia, her best friend.”
“Well, thank goodness for that.” He leaned forward flirtatiously. “I was about to say, you’re far too pretty for my big brother.” He chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair. “And not the sort of woman I would have thought would be answering an online personal ad.”
“Well, Lucy is gorgeous as well.” I laughed. “And who knows maybe I would have answered the ad as well, if I saw it.”

Wild Ride (Wilde Horse Ranch Book 2) by Kim Loraine

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…

Unless that includes waking up married, tattooed, and in bed with a reality TV star. Marrying the woman of my dreams shouldn’t be an issue, right? But it’s a huge problem since my wife belongs on the other side of the long-running feud between the Ryker and the Wilde families.

Yes, TV viewers around the world, I’m Sutton Wilde and my new bride is none other than Sera Ryker.

Oops.

The easy solution is to get a quickie divorce and move on…until the video of our wedding pops up all over social media the next day. Time for plan B — stay married for thirty days to satisfy her TV contract and prevent a PR nightmare.

Trouble is, I’ve carried a torch for Sera Ryker for a long time, and she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me. Guess that means I have thirty days to make my wife fall in love with me.

Game on.

I wanted something sweet and light because I was in between dark books. Got this as a freebie and picked it up right away. It had a favorable trope for me, I love accidentally married in Vegas so I had a winner.

Southern romance makes me think of Gone with the Wind and it always plasters a smile on my face. There is something good with reading a book with cowboys in it.

Truth be told, this is the first book I am reading from this author and even though it’s the second book in the series, you can read it as a standalone. It didn’t bother me in the least that I know nothing more of the world of the main character’s siblings from previous books.

There is a long-lasting feud between Sera’s family and Sutton’s and both have to struggle with their faith in each other. This is a sweet romance book and perfect for a light read. The fact that they both end up married and live streaming the whole thing on social media makes their plan for annulment a bust.

Sera is known for her family’s reality show and Sutton’s grandfather a well know actor. They know how much a reputation can cost their family so they agree to stay married for 30 days.

Can Sutton make Sera realize they can be good together?

Accidental Mail Order Bride by J. S. Cooper

City girl in Montana looking for her Romeo…

Sounds like the start to a Hallmark movie right? Well, it would if they had movies about idiot women flying across the country to marry a man they’d never met.

Yup, that’s what I did. I responded to an ad in a random newspaper that I found on the train. And now I’m trying to find Horseshoe Ranch so that I can marry some cowboy I’ve never even seen. And no, this isn’t the 1800’s. I’m just desperate.

To make matters worse, the cowboy doesn’t even know I’m coming. His mom and dad arranged it all. The only reason I’m going is because I have $100 to my name and an old mafia boyfriend after me. I figured life couldn’t get any worse in Montana. I was wrong.

In my excitement, I left the address and phone number to the ranch at home, so now I’m here in Montana and I have no idea where I’m supposed to go. So I took a taxi and stopped at a local bar to ask for directions. And that’s when all my problems began.

Excerpt Accidental Mail Order Bride by J. S. Cooper

Beau sat down on the chair next to me and looked at me. “So, Lucy Kensington, what are you doing here in Montana?”
I gave him a small smile, not really sure what to say. He obviously wasn’t going to let it go. “You remember my full name?”
“Well, of course,” he laughed. “Who would forget your name? You’re beautiful.”
“Wow, thank you.” I was surprised at the compliment.
“I’m sure you know you’re beautiful, especially if you’re from New York City.”
“Well, why do you say that”?
“I just mean that even in a city as big as New York City, I’m sure you’re considered beautiful. What brought you out here to Montana?” he asked again.
“Wow, you really want to know badly.”
“I guess we just don’t get many visitors, and I’ve never heard of you before.” He shrugged. “I’m just curious.”
“I’m an old friend of your mom’s,” I didn’t like lying, but I couldn’t really say, I’m actually here to marry you. How’d you feel about that?
“Oh, I thought I knew all my mom’s friends.” He looked surprised. “How do you guys know each other?”
“Oh, well we go way back.” And if “way back” meant one month, then so be it.
“Way back, huh? Don’t tell me you’re my mom’s age, and you just had really good plastic surgery or something?”
“Well, hey, I didn’t want to say.” I laughed. “So, you think I look young, huh?”
“Well, you certainly don’t look my mom’s age.”
“No, I’m not your mom’s age, obviously. I’m just a younger friend of hers.”
“Hmm, do you have friends who are younger?”
“Do I have friends that are younger than me? Yeah.”
“When I say they’re younger than you, I mean, by a couple of years, not by a couple of decades.”
“Well, I don’t like to be ageist or anything.”
“What’s your story, Lucy Kensington?”
“I don’t have a story. I don’t even know what you mean.”
“You’re giving me that innocent little face, aren’t you?” He shook his head. “I’m going to get the story out of you one way or another. I know, there’s more to this than you’re letting on.”
“I don’t know what you mean. I mean, I’m just …” And then I paused because I heard more voices and they didn’t sound familiar. “Oh, I think maybe some of your other brothers are home now.”
“Probably. You know, there are seven of us, right?”
“Of course, Amelia told me.” Five minutes ago, I was thinking in my head.

Forever After All by Kaylee Ryan

McKenna

I’ve always had a thing for my best friend’s older brother. In fact, I’ve been planning our wedding since elementary school. Then I grew up, moved away, and studying, and law school became my only focus.

Now that I’m back, the sexy cowboy is everywhere I turn. I shouldn’t mind so much as Rip Callahan is all levels of fine. My problem? His presence… his attention is sending me in a spin. And our reconnection? It’s fast and intense and everything I’ve ever dreamed of.

So why am I getting in my own way?

Rip

I didn’t know the first kiss I ever had would still play on my mind over ten years later. But with beauty and brains, McKenna Dawson is under my skin and very much off-limits.

Crushing on my sister’s best friend isn’t the worst part. That connection? I can’t ignore it. Should I fight it? Probably. Do I want to? Absolutely not.

A challenge among friends is all it takes for me to know she’s what I’ve been missing. That and one incredible trip with those same friends means there’s no going back. Not for me.

It was only supposed to be a weekend, but maybe we were meant to be forever after all.

Tie Me Down (Bellamy Creek Series Book 4) by Melanie Harlow

Just friends.
That’s all Beckett Weaver and I have ever been.
Sure, he’s a hot cowboy who left Wall Street behind to take over his family’s ranch. Yes, I’ve had a secret crush on him since we were seventeen. And who wouldn’t appreciate those strong hands, that massive chest, and the way he fills out a pair of Levis?
He makes a girl sweat just looking at him . . . and I look. A lot.

But I’m a single mom trying to move on with my life, and he’s running that ranch single-handedly while taking care of his elderly father. We don’t even live in the same state. I only returned to my hometown of Bellamy Creek to sell my late mother’s house, and he just invited me and my son to stay with him because he’s got a big heart.

That’s not the only big thing he’s got–which I discover the night I finally sneak across the hall to his bedroom and shed my inhibitions right alongside my pajamas. And once we give into each other, we can’t stop.

The hayloft. The bed of his truck. The dock by the pond.

Nothing has ever felt so right, but his past has taught him not to believe in happily ever after, and every perfect night I spend in his arms brings us closer to goodbye.

Like any cowboy, he’s good with a rope and knows exactly how to tie me up.

But what if I want him to tie me down?
