There’s a house in Cambria with no connection to the outside world.
Dante and Mandy are stuck there together.
He needs an assistant.
She needs a place to hide from the paparazzi.
If she does everything he tells her to do, he’ll let her stay. Anything less than unquestioning compliance, and she goes back to LA humiliated.

Mandy figures she can do Dante’s menial tasks until the heat dies down.
