Two Cabins, One Lake is a book I enjoyed too much! It reminds me of CM Owens’ Wild Ones, a fact that I don’t mind a bit.

When you find out that your heroine’s name is Helly, a nickname from Haley, you know it in your bones that she is trouble. When the new neighbor starts to make too much noise and distress, Helly has no other choice than to retaliate at his own games. Gary is a mystery to why he moved in this place of nowhere, but their chemistry is off the charts.

This is a comedy you will want to read and enjoy since all their encounters has some really funny outcome. They are smart, witty and ready to play, meanwhile falling in love.
The situation gets complicated when Helly’s three bothers come to visit and they are a recipe for disaster.

Two Cabins, One Lake is one of my favorite lough-out-loud series and I enjoy it once in a while since I have so much fun reading it. The characters are very well built and the fact that we find out why Gary is here in the first place makes it really interesting, since his secrets are revealed quite late.

This is the first book of the Alaskan Romance and the second one tells the story of Helly’s best friend Suzy.
