To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five (The Inappropriate Bachelors #1) by J. S. Cooper
To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,
I’m glad you’re happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:
I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest in letting you take me on a date.
P.S. And no, I do not want to know how many accents you can growl in during
intimate moments. How is that even a thing?
P. P. S. Also, you will never find me standing naked in your living room ever
again, so please stop leaving lingerie packages on my welcome mat.

Is it wrong to start a new book at 2 AM on Sunday night? Assuming it’s still quarantine time, but Monday means also working from home?
YES – you can yawn on your own and secretly smile that you got a good book and it was worth it.
Even though this felt a bit short, since I’m used to long looong pages of romance books, I did enjoy it.
Magnolia Allen has a new neighbor that gives her little notes. Of course, she cannot understand how a guy she has never met can preposition to her the way Jagger does. But she actually does know him and pretty well.
They share a past and a few secrets that 10 years ago turned her world upside down.
This is a second chance story and I loved every minute of it. There are no twisted plots, and some things might be predictable. The way Jagger keeps some facts to her would raise a flag, but she is reasonable and understands him motives for wanting her again in his life.
If you enjoy neighbor tropes and second chances, I would recommend this one. Plus is has some heat to it and the chemistry between them was hot.
