This Dark Wolf (Soul Bitten Shifter Book 1) by Everly Frost

I am a wolf shifter born with a human soul.
Packless. Mateless. Unable to bond.
Cast out of my pack, I live in a supernatural safe house filled with broken women. Other women come and go, but I remain.

I’m waiting.
For him.
Tristan Masters—the ruthless alpha of the most vicious pack in the city.

He fought for my life when my pack wanted to kill me. He saved me. I should be able to trust him.

But I know better.

Tristan Masters wants my wolf; my killer soul. When he’s ready, he will use me to destroy his enemies.

Tristan thinks he owns me. He thinks there are no consequences because I can’t bond to him.

He’s going to discover that I am nobody’s to command.

This dark wolf will bite back.

This is a dark urban fantasy romance. Full length. 17+ for sex scenes and language.
Publication Date: December 26, 2020

Loved every minute of this first book by Everly Frost.

Tessa is unique and not a wolf like her pack. The daughter of the last true Alpha, she is marginalized along with her father after he lost his Alpha position. This doesn’t mean she isn’t a magnet for pain.

Everything comes down to the day she losses her father, when she is challenged by the “mean boys”, her half brother and 2 alphas-in-training when they come to harm her.

She is saved by Tristan Masters, one of the most ruthless Alphas to rule their world, but this comes at a price. She knows her days are numbered, but she is willing to help Tristan.

Beware of the cliffhanger, but luckily for you if you start this book now, the series is complete. The 4th book is up for pre-order, but it’s the story of the vampire Tessa befriends.

Started this book at 10 pm and finished at 3 am. I was hooked and after I finish this review, I am starting book 2.
