The Viper’s Nest (Kit Davenport Book 4) BLURB:

Betrayal has forced us on the run. Evading the very man I considered my family, the organization I once considered good. In hiding, I need to master my new power and find peace with my bonded guardian–or risk exposure.

But my heart can’t accept the events that led us here. I need answers. Closure.

An olive branch is offered and another trap is sprung. While my relationships grow stronger by the day, new tensions arise and ghosts of my past appear. But can anyone be trusted?

I’m Kit Davenport and I didn’t see that one coming.

Title: The Viper’s Nest (Kit Davenport #4)
Author: Tate James
Publication Date: February 27th, 2018
Shelves: Contemporary; Romance; Paranormal;
Format: Kindle (382 pages)
Rating: 7/10

To be honest my interest in this series is losing a bit of its excitement. I love Tate James so I am going to continue the series, hopefully proving me wrong along the way.

I cannot help but wish Kit would be more badass, and when stuff happen and she needs to be saved, I kind of wish she would to the saving and blow everyone away with her powers.

There are also small things that bothers me, and binging the book has its downfall because I did not have any break between, so the annoying stuff added on. Probably, for me, juggling 6 boyfriends is too much. I don’t mind the sex scenes, but I really wanted more plot development.

Honestly, since reading so much paranormal romances over the years, I start to get really picky and my bar is kind of high. Probably that is why I feel a bit disappointment in this book.

Anyway, I continued with the story because I am invested in finishing books I dig.
