Title: The One

Rating: 10/10

Firstly, “The One” is the book where we finally find out who is chosen to be the future queen. Even though we can anticipate that they will be together, because it is still a romance novel, things start to get complicated, because America is in a lower class and was in the selection process just as a stand off to give hope to the ones in the lower casts.

Meanwhile, during their stay at the Royal House, some rebels start to fight their way in and cause trouble.

“Break my heart. Break it a thousand times if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway.”

Most importantly, the rebels strike when they announce the winning Queen. That is to say, it happens during the LIVE broadcast.

Most important, The One is much more intense than the first two books. In addition, the end for sure will be a turn around and gives you a show.

Their love, and the rebellion that they face will be a challenge they have to face. Certainly, America will have to prove that she is fit to be a queen and that their love and bonding is the better version of how she imagined her life.

After that, they will restructure how the society is, and will right all the wrongs that were avoided so far.

To sum up, I really love this book and series. On the other hand, I am curious about what The Heir and The Crown have to offer.

Make sure to check Kiera Cass’ Website for news about her books.
Here is the reading order of the series.

1 The Selection

2 The Elite

3 The One

4 The Heir

The Heir

5 The Crown

The Crown
