Princess Eadlyn never thought she could find her love among the boys selected to join the conquest to become her husband. She is still unsure about her feeling and struggles between the duty she thinks she needs to have for her people and the personal struggles of love.

“You have to embrace the idea of imperfection, even if the thing that is most perfect for you.”

Kile..Hale..or Henri or Eric?

“Maybe it’s not the first kisses that are supposed to be special. Maybe it’s the last ones.”
“Break the stupid rule, Eadlyn. Marry the man you love. If he’s good enough for you to approve of, then I certainly do. And if the people don’t, that can be their problem. Because who are you?”
“I’m Eadlyn Schreave, and no one in the world is as powerful as me,” I blurted without thought.
He nodded. “Damn right you are.”

She will grow so much as a person, and I enjoyed reading every line. I love the fact that we see more about America and Maxon so this is a nice end of their story.

Here is the reading order of the series.

1 The Selection

The-Selection

2 The Elite

The-Elite

3 The One

The-One

4 The Heir

5 The Crown
