See Me After Class by Meghan Quinn

“Did you have relations with my brother . . .”

Good question.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother.

My intentions were to show students how English and reading books could actually be fun and make a new life for myself in the suburbs of Chicago.

But so far, I’ve managed to be called into the principal’s office.

Coerced into participating in the teacher’s badminton league.

And instigated into passionate fights with Arlo Turner over education and decorum while losing my underwear at the same time.

Known as Mr. Turns Me On, he’s the reason I might get fired from my first ever teaching job.

OH, my God…. talk about hot and cold, Mr. Arlo is one hot of an English teacher playing this game far too well.

This book was not what I expected since it is about a workplace romance, but with those pranks and funny back and forth, this one was more than I signed up for and I loved every minute of it.

I wanted to scream and stop Breer sometimes, because girly, you need more attitude and backbone. Considering her age, yes it makes sense, but I cannot stop myself walking in her shoes and reacting different when Arlo was being a huge A**hole.

At the begging Breer jokes on Jane Austin and all that, but it makes wonder Arlo being a little of Mr. Darcy with his classy stuck up attitude and his impression above all, whereas Breer is the young, careless new teacher who wants to have fun teaching her class.

This book will make you want to scream at them and smack some sense into the main characters, but I loved the way Arlo will redeem himself.
