Play the Game: Hannaford Prep Year Three by J Bree
All of my hard work has paid off and now I have a family to call my own – my best friend Avery and my three boyfriends; Harley, Ash, and Blaise.
But with more people depending on me, the stakes have never been higher.
I’ve stepped out from the shadow of the Jackal. I’ve laid claim on the men I want and I’m not letting anything get in our way.
Easier said than done. We’re being stalked by serial killers and sociopaths at every turn, there’s a history teacher trying to bang my boyfriend, and I can’t forget the nightmare-inducing gifts arriving at my door.
Once a lone Wolf, now I’ll do anything to keep the pack safe.

Hannaford Prep blew me away. I think J Bree becomes one of my go to authors and what a way to break the ice since this is the 3rd book she’s published.
I cannot express into worlds how much I truly enjoyed it. I love a badass heroine and Lips is one of the best out there.
The fact that this all started as her the bullied and now she has become the talk of their world, makes me love her more. And her boys rise up to their Wolf.
The first 3 books I DEVOURED, and I had to wait for the 4th to arrive. I was happy it was only 2 weeks wait, but lucky you that you can binge read it now.
The only thing bad about this series is their age. I would have preferred them to be a bit older, but I guess it doesn’t matter that much to me and the story it totally worth it.
Some might say this is a dark romance, but since I usually avoid them, the stuff that I read usually blur the line a bit. So, personally, even though there are triggers like sex, drugs, violence and some torture, I would say it’s dark-ish.
Bottom line is this is one of my favorite series and will be added on the re-reading list. It’s a lot to dig in, their world is hectic and full of violence, things go crazy, but it is a gang / mafia / butcher etc themed, so these are to be expected.
Ps: beware of the might Cliffhanger, because it’s brutal.
