Perfectly Toxic (The Sterling Shore Series Book 9) by CM Owens
New life. New job. New home. New goals…
I vowed to make drastic changes and to never fall back into old habits. But then Ethan Noles showed up and blew all my good intentions to hell. I should have stayed away. I shouldn’t have played his game.
But I did.
Now I just hope I don’t regret it.
Bella is the type of girl you can’t help but chase, because she doesn’t want to be caught. I came back ready to live and enjoy life. Not to get tethered to a girl. But… shit happens. Bella happens. And everything I thought I wanted slowly changes.
*And yeah, there’s sex.

I think Bella’ story was one of the ones I really enjoyed! She is hilarious on her own, without too much trouble! We have seen parts of her character since A Redo, the book where Allie meets Wren, her baby daddy.
Bella has managed to become on of the circle and she has earned her spot by being loyal, funny and perfectly toxic for Ethan Noles.
Ethan returns to Sterling Shore after managing his father’s company for 10 years. He wants to live again and relive his youth, since partying was out of reach between working all the time. His party turns him into the E.R. where he meets Bella.
I love how he became a little obsessed with her before knowing she was part of his circle of friends and how he gets jealous when somebody talks about her.
This series is becoming better and better, so it would be a tragedy to ask me what my favorite one is. Truly a tragedy.
