Mr. Romantic (Mister #2) by J.A. Huss
Ivy is the “preacher’s daughter”. Everything about her screams “innocent” and ready for corruption. She’s well-educated, well-respected, and desperate for a job after just graduating college.
She’s sunning herself one day when a sweet job offer is literally hand-delivered from the infamous Mr. Romantic, Nolan Delaney, himself. Well… his driver, anyway.
Ivy knows who Mr. Romantic is. All the Misters are infamous. They were involved in a media-frenzy college scandal some years back and everyone knows Mr. Romantic was the one who “did it”.
They miraculously beat the rap and have been busy being billionaires ever since. But even though Ivy is ready for the challenge (and really needs this job) something is up at Mr. Romantic’s desert resort.
Nolan Delaney might be deliciously hot, but he’s got a dark side lurking under that charm. And when I say dark… I’m talking… depraved.

The elusive Mr. Romantic, Nolan Delany. He meets Ivy Rockwell during an interview at one of his resorts. Their chemistry is off the charts and there are some things that maybe I should mention, because some of you might find this trigger a stop sign. There is a rape fantasy scene here, but it’s fantasy and also consensual. It also adds as an incentive on the whole series plot, so if this is a limit for you, skipping this book can harm the storyline.
I enjoyed this book because I truly like the characters, all of them. It’s also safe to say I chased every little detail I could find on that event that happened 10 years ago that connects them all. Especially since it’s coming across that the Mrs. of the Mr. have a role in this. Little answers given and more questions asked. Exactly my kind of a book.
Nolan aka Mr. Romantic is one of the Mr. from a well know “crew” along with Mr. Perfect, Mr. Corporate, Mr. Mysterious and Mr. Match. The 6th book finished the story with Mr. & Mrs. And we can finally find out how the story ends. It was very well written to ensure the reader has a great experience.
Six book series where each of the Misters are connected to a single event in the past. This series is sort of following the kids of the Rook and Ronin Series, but I have read it before figuring this out.
