This book was SUCH a nice surprise!!! I loved every minute of it. It light, it has a heroine that you’ll love and a hero that you’ll swoon over… characters that make you laugh.

I started it last night and of course finished it because i just couldn’t put it down. I’ve been in a funk lately so that it way I say it was such a nice surprise. And I just knew from 5% that I WAS LOVING IT.

AND let me tell you, this series is something I am looking forward to it because the Bates family is something to read about. And we have Sophie’s sister Liv and their brother Jabe. I feel it already.

About the book, Sophie has a B&B that needs to be paid soon, because her taxes are due and she faces her business to be taken away. In comes Holden, her childhood BFF who comes into town to take care of his Pop’s Vet clinic until he lands a new job.

Both of them need each other and a marriage of convenience is perfectly crazy and a solution for Sophie not to lose the business and Holden to be a married man in order to land his dream job. What they try to deny is the chemistry between them and that maybe,  Sophie is what Holden is searching for, not a job.
