Title: Lady Luck
Author: Kristen Ashley
Publication Date: February 1st, 2018
Shelves: Contemporary; Romance; Alpha Hero;
Format: Kindle (493 pages)
Rating: 8/10

Lady Luck hooked me from the first pages. I found myself dying to know what everything was all about, why Ty was looking for revenge and what were his plans including Alexa.
As always, Kristen Ashley’s ladies are badass and unique while managing to gather a loving crowd around them. Plus, they always back up their men.

Ty Walker is a man that was framed for a crime he did not commit, thus spending 5 years in prison has made him a vengeful man. All he wants to do is to bring down the man who did him wrong, but when Lexie shows up to get him a ride out of prison, his plans take a turn.

I really loved the fact that I had to learn the main characters from their own POV, even if personally, there was too much description. That is a personal fact that I enjoy multiple POVs and more dialogue, but all in all the story was good and twisty.

Ty and Lexie are two lost souls that reunite to start a home, a safe place, something both never had. People all over Carnal know about what is happening and are backing them up. This book is all about love, friends, destiny and how people of black color were wrongfully noticed and judged. This bond will clear Ty’s name.

As a conclusion, Lady Luck has been a mix between the pace of Rock Chick series and mountain men of Colorado / Biker world.

I’m chasing connections between series and how to read them as per Kristen Ashley’s recommendations, but Lady Luck, just as all books so far from Colorado Mountains can be read on their own, with no connection to Rock Chick Series. Coming next is Breathe, where I know Ally Nightingale saves Faye Goodknight, and this is where the author said to read it before Rock Chick Revolution.
