Code of Conduct (Cipher Security #1) by April White
There are three things you need to know about Shane P.I. 1) P.I. is not her last name, it’s her job title, 2) Her specialty is catching cheaters, and 3) she’s a superhuman – kind of.
Gabriel is a security expert for Cipher Security, and a former UN Peacekeeper with a fierce protective streak that finds its focus on the beautiful P.I.

Their attraction is like an elephant in a room full of breakable things, and figuring out how to trust each other with their hearts, and maybe their lives, is the most fragile thing of all.

This book felt like a movie! I love Penny Reid’s books, so of course I had in mind to read all the books written from the Pennyverse World.

Code of Conduct is taken part in the world of Quinn Sullivan’s office and we get quite a lot of interactions with him, but more with Alex Greene and Sandra Greene.

P.I. Shane has a hidden life and has started a new one in the city of Cipher Security’s territory. Here she has a case that will take her “to bed” with the team of the hottest security out there.

She knows she’s in trouble when she accidentally meets Gabriel. Soon he takes a more close interest in figuring out what mysteries she hides.

You are in for a treat because this book deals with loss and surviving, plus I haven’t read so many books with mix race. I love how the characters are built and their chemistry runs deep. Love knows no boundaries and this book shows it in full.

Congrats to April White, because she did a fine job!
