Be My Brayshaw (Brayshaw #4) by Meagan Brandy
“Cross one, cross all.”
That’s the Brayshaw way.
She should have realized this before sliding into our world with secrets too big to bury.
She didn’t and now the target is on her back.
The day her lies came crashing down, I should have forced her out.
Instead, I locked her in, and with the promise I would never be hers.
I resisted, fought against us.
I tasted what became my newfound favorite flavor and fell hard for the little liar.
But then the depth of her treachery reveals itself, and with it a reminder.
Our town is a twisted place, and with truth comes trouble.
In the blink of an eye, my world is split at its core, and I’m faced with an impossible decision, one that leads to a single outcome…

It’s 4 AM and I can’t sleep because this book has left me feeling all kinds of things.
I knew Captain’s book would break my heart, but I did not know how much it would steal my breath away for him and Victoria. And not to forget little Zo-Zo, because single parents are a soft spot of mine.
The romance between them was slowly developed, because Captain was fighting his desire for her. His struggles came from his being a new father and putting Zoey’s well being first. What he did not expect was having his daughter love the girl he sees as a threat, full of lies and betray.
I loved and hated this, because I wanted Victoria to have her much deserved happy ending, but love in Brayshaw comes with bloodshed, and the way Meagan Brandy told this story blew me away.
I was happy to lean all of Victoria’s secrets and wow, did she hide a lot. I can honestly say I did not expect most of them.
I don’t want to spoiler much more, because Meagan Brandy is a fabulous author and the fact that she doesn’t plot her books and the story just flows, makes her one of my favorites.
Trust me, read the series. I’m 99% sure you’re going to love it.
