At The Buzzer (The Ballers of Rockport High #3) by E.M. Moore

Senior year. My last chance…

The Ballers took everything away from me last year. Riding the bench wasn’t what I’d planned, and I don’t want a repeat of that this season. I can’t have a repeat of that, not if I want to accomplish all those goals I set for myself when I first came to RHS.

There’s one problem though. One Baller is determined to keep me on the sidelines. I’m broken because of him. Physically broken.

I can’t let that stop me though. There’s so much riding on this year, and I won’t let anything—or anyone—get in my way.

AT THE BUZZER is a reverse harem bully romance.

Wow, the ending of book 2 left me so angry! I understand people hate other people, but don’t physically harm one. While Tessa struggles to heal her wrist, her love life continues. I still feel she forgave the guys too fast for my liking, but at least they seem genuine to her.

We finally find out why Lake hates Tessa and let me tell you I did not see it coming. And while I still hated Lake, I really wanted him to be … spoiler here, but you’ll understand after reading the book.

One thing is for sure, he will not be included into the love lives of the gang.

All in all, this was a good series for me. I enjoyed it and even though there were things that annoyed me, I overlooked it easily. It is still fiction, so while other books reflect reality better, that does not mean I have to judge how I would deal with it in real life.
