Release Day: June 20

Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce.

Not me.

It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than just her brother’s best friend.

When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.

Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.

After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.

Standalone Brother’s Best Friend Romcom!

Title: A Pizza My Heart (Slice Series #1)
Author: Teagan Hunter
Publication Date: June 20th, 2019
Shelves: Contemporary; Romance;
Format: Kindle (302 pages)
Rating: 7/10

This book was a light read for me. It’s a plain romantic love story between Wren (which is a girl by the way) and her brother’s best friend, which also became hers too. After he confessed his love for her, she still saw him is a brotherly way, which lead him to move away by marrying a girl he met that summer.

Now, he’s back. After a messy divorce, his life is a complete mess.

They end up fake dating to help him out, but soon he cannot fake it anymore.

A Pizza my Heart is not my most memorable book this month, but sometimes an easy read comes handy. Not sure if I’m currently looking that excited to read the rest of the series, but Wren’s best friend seems like a really fun character to get to know.

Curious about Drew being a single mother? Her book is coming out this year – I knead you tonight.
